This information alerts me to the total ignoring of the damage that fluoride does to thyroid function as it is accumulated in the body. Research has shown the toxic nature of the Fluoride. Also that, over 6 years a person can accumulate enough fluoride to reduce the activity of the thyroid gland [...] If you don’t fire up your thyroid here is what happens. You don’t lose weight. How can you burn the fat? The thyroid is in control of the burn rate. This is a large part of why you are overweight, and why you can work very hard and still not lose anything at all. Next, when you semi-starve, your will thyroid slow down in an effort to keep you from dying. Now you are in double trouble.
