Just wondering if taking a lot of heart meds and blood pressure med and cholesterol med over a long period of time can cause low thyroid levels? My husband takes all these meds, he always has VERY cold hands and feet, tired all the time, doesn’t over eat(but no weight loss) The strange thing is that his legs hurt real bad especially at night. He couldn’t sleep because of the pain. He has had his legs teted for PAD and several things all to no avail.This has been going on for about 3 years. Recently he has been diagnosed thru blood work that he has low thyroid levels. Could the meds cause all this?
Since taking this new thyroid med his legs no longer hurt.
